The figure below illustrates the minimal setup you need to run the sample applications from the Cookbook.

• You will not modify the firmware on the 

  SmartMesh manager

   with the different sample applications, using IAR and the j-link programmer.
• On the computer, we recommend you start the following applications:
  • A serial terminal connected to the CLI port of your 

    SmartMesh manager

  • IAR Embedded Workbench for ARM.
  • Optionally, the ApiExplorer application of the
